Google services we use
We use Google Tag Manager to load Google tags, Google Ads to measure the results of our advertising, and Google Analytics 4 for website statistics. We use Google Consent Mode v2. Until you accept, Google tags run in a limited mode: they do not set advertising or analytics cookies, and ad data is redacted. If you reject cookies, Google may still receive an ad click ID passed through the page address (URL) instead of a cookie, so that aggregated ad results can be measured without storing anything on your device.

Affiliate links (Travelpayouts and Booking.com)
Roomnetic takes part in affiliate programmes run through Travelpayouts, including the Booking.com programme. When you click a “Search” or “Check availability” button, you go through a Travelpayouts tracking link and then on to Booking.com. The link contains a reference that lets us see which page and button led to a booking. If you arrived from one of our ads, it also contains the ad click ID and your cookie choice (accepted or not), so that booking results are reported to Google Ads only in line with your choice.
We do not receive your name, payment details or booking details. Bookings are made directly with Booking.com, and their privacy policy applies from that point on.
Website statistics without cookies
We count page views and button clicks on our hotel pages so we can see which pages are useful. This count stores no cookies, does not record your IP address, and does not include visitors who are logged in or known bots. The data is kept only as daily totals per page.
Legal bases (UK GDPR / EU GDPR)
- Consent: advertising and analytics cookies, and storing the ad click ID on your device. You can withdraw consent at any time through “Cookie settings”.
