The 172 rooms vary in size, but it is Paris: They're small. Still, they are full of stunning details befitting of the building—think bespoke herringbone floors and elegant copper bath fixtures. If you can, splurge on a "Roomy" room, as some have terraces.
Let's talk F&B: What's on offer?
While the all-day restaurant Rivié serves solid French-inspired dishes, it's Jacques Bar that has become a hotspot for locals and travelers alike. Yet don't overlook Planche, a low-intervention wine bar that is new and still somewhat under the radar.
How did you find the service, start to finish? Smooth and efficient, or clumsy and forgetful?
The Hoxton is known for its relaxed, easy-going vibe and that extends to the service, even in notoriously fussy and sometimes cold Paris.
What about the neighborhood? Does the hotel fit in, make itself part of the scene?
Right on the border of the chi-chi 2nd Arrondissement and the grittier (and arguably cooler) 10th, the Hoxton has something for everyone.
