    Why book?

For a stay in the center of Palm Beach, complete with an adults-only rooftop infinity pool perfect for sunset views.

    Set the scene

You’re in the heart of Palm Beach, where Aruba’s highest concentration of restaurants, casinos, and shopping is stitched together within a few blocks. The crowd is mixed: families traveling with kids, young couples on their first Aruba trip, college-aged groups of friends, and older, seasoned Aruba loyalists who still prefer the convenience and flexibility of a hotel over committing to a timeshare.

    The backstory

Radisson Blu Aruba opened in April 2021 as the brand’s reintroduction to the island. The hotel is defined by its Palm Beach location, rooftop infinity pool, and walkable access to Aruba’s most concentrated dining and nightlife.

    The rooms

As an all-suite hotel, every accommodation here is notably spacious, a byproduct of the building’s former life as a residential condo complex. This works in guests’ favor: layouts are made for unpacking rather than quick overnights. The design leans into sleek minimalism with soft whites and sandy wood tones accented by subtle blues, which echo the ocean views.

Every suite is equipped with a kitchenette including a full-size refrigerator and freezer, microwave, and sink. This makes a difference for longer stays, families with kids, or anyone sneaking back to the room for lunch or stashing leftovers from dinner out. The oversized balconies are the perfect place to soak in Aruba’s ideal weather with a coffee or a cocktail.

    Food and drink

Food and drink here lean into convenience rather than destination dining. The adults-only rooftop bar remains the main draw, pulling guests for happy hours (there are three throughout the day) and lingering swims in the infinity pool. On the other side of the property, the main pool bar serves light bites and tropical cocktails throughout the day, making it an easy base for families. Sunset Bistro, the hotel’s main restaurant perched by the rooftop pool, handles the widest range: a generous breakfast buffet with classic hotel staples, followed by casual lunch and dinner offerings that rotate between Caribbean-inspired dishes and American comfort food. Clover, the on-site café and mini market, serves coffee, smoothies, and pastries all day.

    The neighborhood/area

The hotel sits just steps from the area’s busiest stretch, defined by casinos, nightlife, and a constant hum of foot traffic, yet once you are inside the property, you would barely know it. The pool deck in particular functions as a quiet oasis, insulated from the noise and action just beyond the hotel’s perimeter.

While the hotel is not oceanfront, the beach is only a five-minute walk or a quick complimentary shuttle ride away. The prime location makes it easy to hop between the beach and dinner reservations without needing a car.

    The service

Service is warm and approachable, and the front desk is always willing to help. They’re consistently friendly and quick with recommendations and small fixes that make your stay feel easy. Their genuine hospitality is one of the property’s stronger assets. Overall, the vibe is casual, upbeat, and welcoming.

    Eco effort

Radisson Blu Aruba is the island’s only LEED-certified hotel building, a distinction reflected in its energy-efficient systems, sustainable design, and operations that minimize environmental impact. Water conservation measures, waste-reduction programs, and thoughtful resource management are all essential parts of the property.

    Accessibility

Accessible rooms and facilities are available, with common areas designed to accommodate guests with mobility needs.

    Anything left to mention?

There are two types of travelers who visit Aruba: beach people and pool people, and this hotel is unequivocally built for the latter. The rooftop infinity pool is a true highlight, with ample seating, so you won’t need to fight for it. It is one of the property’s most distinctive draws and where many guests happily spend entire afternoons.

While the beach is only a short walk or shuttle ride away, seating there is extremely limited, and if you are not early, you likely will not be accommodated. Unlike a true beachfront resort, do not expect full-service luxury on the sand; there is no dedicated resort staff taking orders, so you will need to visit a nearby beach bar and pay out of pocket. For travelers who prioritize carefree beach service as part of the Aruba experience, this can be a real deal breaker.
